HTML Headings

<h1> to <h6> tags defines HTML headings. <h1> tag defines the most important, bigger and large heading. <h6> tag defines the least important and smaller heading. Headings are used to show the structure of the document. <h1> tag is used for main heading, followed by <h2> tag, then the less important <h3>, and so on till <h6>.

HTML headings are of six types.

  • <h1>...</h1>
  • <h2>...</h2>
  • <h3>...</h3>
  • <h4>...</h4>
  • <h5>...</h5>
  • <h6>...</h6>

HTML Horizontal Line

<hr> tag defines a thematic break in an HTML page, and is displayed as a horizontal line. <hr> element is used to separate content by a line in an HTML page.
