<a> tag represents a hyperlink, which is used to navigate from one page to another page in a website. You can use the <a> tag to link text or images. It is also known as anchor tag.

Syntax

 <a href="url">link text </a>

Attributes of the <a> tag

  • href: Specifies the URL Address.
  • title: Specifies extra information about a link, which appears on the tooltip.
  • target: Specifies where to open the target URL.
